Change one word in that sentence, please. You know which one.
Thanks!

Don’t take the the wrong way but there’s one thing about the latest chapter that is killing me… The story is set in the late 1990′s, 1998 maybe? The new chapter has morphed us ten years. Jack Black and Dora the Explorer? Not around in 1998. Rally’s on Manchester? Not there. ABC VOIP Systems? Nope.
It probably doesn’t help that I grew up in the area of your apartment in the story.. When you and Sarah left the IHOP and crossed a narrow bridge I tried to figure out which one you were thinking of. Ahh well. In any case, it’s a pretty fine story and am one of the people that’s been patiently waiting for however long for the end. Keep up the good work.

Good catch on the Dora and there are other inconsistencies I need to fix. But the rest? Remember that this is fiction. There used to be a Rally’s there. I know this because like the main character, I lived on Brentshire Walk back then. As for VOIP Systems. Probably a bad choice for a name but fiction also. (VOIP Technology didn’t really exist mainstream yet.)
I’m going to be writing this weekend so I will fix a few of these things. Thanks!

No problem. Rally’s may have been there, I get that and the Sonic confused. Pagers were still around back then, right? How about all of those ISP startups that got bought out in 999/2000? Plenty of those.
Story’s very good. One question – have you known the whole story since you started and you’re just now finishing it or are you still working on the end?

I am reading your blog again because I have it bookmarked in the hope some day I will get to know how Futon ends. And because I am stalling on something I should be writing myself, right now. I’m going to go make myself put some words down. I can always edit them later. Maybe you could do the same…
